Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Centers focus on the health and wellness of the body and mind, by offering acupuncture and Chinese herbs prescribed and dispensed in-house. By striving to make Chinese medicine both approachable and accessible to all, you will find centers located in Danvers, North Reading and Medford, with appointments available Monday through Saturday, including evening hours to accommodate even the busiest schedules. We accept most insurance plans and offer affordable payment options in the event that acupuncture benefits are not covered. By offering free 30 minute consultations with any one of our practitioners, you will find that educating clients on how our healing modalities can treat any number of maladies is our top priority.

Acupuncture is an ancient, time-tested method for preventing and treating various diseases, illnesses, and conditions. It is a collection of procedures involving penetration of the skin with very thin, sterile, disposable needles to gently and painlessly stimulate certain points on the body. In its classical form it is a characteristic component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It has been categorized as a complementary health approach. According to traditional Chinese medicine, stimulating specific acupuncture points corrects imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians. Acupuncture's use for certain conditions has been recognized by the United States National Institutes of Health, the National Health Service of the United Kingdom, the World Health Organization, and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

In addition to acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, we offer a variety of alternative therapies, including cupping, electro-acupuncture, and classes, such as the ancient martial art of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and seminars led by some of the world’s leading professionals in Chinese and Western Medicine.
